We’re Hiring for the following:
Data Entry Officer
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Officer, responsible for managing all inventory data within our food production company.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and movements.
Job Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Officer, you will be expected to perform the following duties
- Input and update inventory data into the company’s inventory management system
- Responsible for reconciling physical inventory with data on inventory sheets/systems
- Work closely with stock keepers to ensure FIFO, FEFO, tracking of waste, and B&D
- Raise and monitor the requisition of consumable and non-consumable products across all units
- Coordinate the receiving and accounting of inventory for all products
- Work closely with the Finance team to complete the audit of Inventory regularly
- Work closely with the business analyst to calculate and confirm usage of all inventories weekly
- Responsible for Issuing Consumable and Non-Consumable from the system and work closely with inventory assistants to ensure compliance, and update issuing records
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Carry out other duties as required by management
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree or equivalent. Training in data entry or inventory management is preferred
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a similar inventory-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Proficient in Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work Schedule
- You will be required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week, and a maximum of 6 (which can fall on Saturday or Sunday) as rotated.
- Payment is made at the end of each month, calculated based on the number of shifts worked. Each shift is pegged at 7000 naira; you will be paid monthly
